Fish id.

I need an id on 2 fish i got
i was told they were cichlids, i'm thinking africans.
and i kinda think they're both the same species, just male/female or age.

1st picture is the bigger one, next smaller one, last both of them

Well, I am lousy at IDing African cichlids but I would guess that these are one of the kribs, maybe Pelvicachromis pulcher.

are they both kribensis?
why do they look slightly different?

Kribs vary significantly in color depending on collection point. I'm not really familiar with the variations but that could explain it.

Both have not got any chrimson stomachs. IE, They are most definately male.
They dont appear to be Pelvicachromis Pulcher, but they do come from the pelvicachromis genus.

would they ever fight if both male?
