saw this in my LFS recently, staff didnt know what it was exactly. they don't keep on top of names for rare/weird fish they sometimes bring in, but the service, prices, stock and other info is always excellent.
anyway, sorry for the crappy photos it was about four inches, and maybe three quarters of an inch wide/thick.

is it a goby? looks kind of like a brotula.

why not? it wasn't expensive at all, and i thought it'd make a great, different, nano inhabitant

they are very cryptic and tend to go un-noticed in a tank, unless it's well WELL established i don' think they'd come out enough for food and would eventuaslly waste a way...
shame though they are cool looking fish
