A point in the right direction perhaps? I have a co-worker trying to tell me that thats it's a giant black goldfish, that she had one for years. I just want to show her some pics online saying different. Not that I enjoy saying I told you so or anything 
thats not the answer I wanted, I don't like being wrong. I'm pretty sure I took this shot in the Congo exhibit at the bronx zoo.
-just did some research and found that there are carp in africa which I was unaware of .... damn.
still don't think she owned an S/A carp though in a fish tank, the pics I just saw of them have a barbels and as big as dogs
