What kind of fish is this, I forgot. I know i'm stupid.

Geophagus. Does it usually have a big black spot on it's belly?

no but its only about an inch long do you know how big it gets

It's most likely an Altifrons. They usually reach 12".

If you want the Geophagus-ness, in a small package, go for Bolivian Rams or Red Caps.
