I hope I have posted this in the right place...
I just got given two black eyed spotted silver dollars... I am not sure what SP they are.. I have placed a spotted metynnis in the same tank and the black eyed ones have bigger spots and a flatter face... baby Pacu? ( pacu are a big no-no over here so I have never seen any little ones)
I took a vid.. you can see both clearly towards the end...

What is a "red gril Var?" Never heard of this, and wasn't able to find anything on the internet (although I did happen upon your thread on another forum and literally lol'd at someone's response about it being a piranha that has lost its teeth). :grinno:
