Fish ID?

Purchased this at my LFS as a Texas cichlid. Looks like a flowerhorn though. Can anyone tell me what fish this is?

It looks like a bifa hybrid of some sort

Officially this would be classed as a Hybrid... Flowerhorns are technically hybrids but they follow a formate of recognised variants, which this fish is not. Therefore, this fish is NOT a Flowerhorn it is a Hybrid - at a guess Convict type + Flowerhorn

Its is actually quite an attractive looking fish.

Would this fish be ok alone in a 60 gallon for life?

How big will it get? Around 12"?

Pretty much anythin hybrid here in Australia is called a flowerhorn lol. Definitely one sexy fish either way.

Hybrids normally do get a lot bigger than normal species. I'd expect it to get at least 12" looks big already
