Is the white-spotted purple fish in the video a cichlid? If so, what kind is it? How large does it grow? Is it aggressive? And what is it compatible with?

Never have seen that personally but i was thinking grouper all the way. Most groupers get huge cool looking fish.

Bumble bee grouper I know they get huge and have heard they can live in freshwater for awhile but have to be gradually changed over to salt as they get bigger and older again based on what I've heard in the past

The get around 8ft long and over 800 lbs, only remain in fresh of brackish water as juvies (like the one in the video, and will sometimes enter estuaries to hunt.
One of their other common names is Giant Grouper.
