Distichodus lussoso ??... they lose all the bars/color as they grow... Vik has a cple large ones like this. thebiggerthebetter thebiggerthebetter

Fins look like rostratus but body doesn’t. Body looks more like black shark minnow because of how small it’s head is on the body.
I am not familiar with the black shark minnow.

It’s like a red tail or rainbow, but huge.

That looks to be the fish! I thought I noticed bars on the smaller guys!
 
Deadeye Deadeye Distichodus sexfasciatus is one of my favorites and very similiar ? wish they wernt so agro as they age... and kept their original colors. Grew one to 24”ish that currently lives in a 50k gal pool at O.F.R.... he plays nice in there lol...
