So I set up a nice bow front 35 gallon tank last week and ive been trying to find the perfect fish to put in it. It could be one awesome fish by itself. Or many small fish together. I also already have a 75 gallon set up so out growing the tank wont be too much of a problem because I can always transfer him. Any ideas??

Definitely not convicts. I want something real vicious, a tank banger. Ive been in the aquarium hobby for quite a long time now and been through almost every fish you can imagine. Was just seeing if there was something out there I havnt heard of or had yet
Ive been wanting a snakehead for quite a long time, but they are illegal here. We actually have a kill on sight policy haha. And the pikes are kinda cool. Would like bright colors though.
ya i loved snakeheads too, but they are +- $23 on the current exchange rate for a small fish so kinda out of hand.
if you want nice fish (not super colourful) with lots of personality go for Tanganyika shell cichlids, they are small and super cool. males form harems or pairs and take about 3 shells per fish and breed like machines. if the tank is deeper than 9 inch then other small cichlids can be housed with them, if they enter shell territory then these cichlids go ham, like really.

redtail barracuda also could be good, 2 could maybe be kept in a 75G, depends on dimensions a real little monster
