Fish ideas???

O.K.
I lost my coral beaty to a power head the other day!
(my mistake)
I want to replace with an equally cool fish!
I was leaning towards a longnose hawkfish but I have a "half topless" tank!
Thay may jump if startled!
SOOOO
I need some Ideas of a cool fish, or two small fish to get!
I live the jawfish and blennys but they are knoown to jump also!
Any IDEAS???

aurora gobies
clown gobies
striped blenny

the fih that are said to be jumpers (jaws firefish etc)
only relaly do so untill they have an established territory, which is why they should be the first couple fish in the tank.. after about a week or so jumping is almost a non-concern..

pretty much any fish will jump if thoroughly spooked

I already lost a diamond goby to the jumpingout of the tank deal!
Had him for about two weeks then!!!
One morning I had dried fish on the floor!!!
Do you know of a longnose hawk fish juming alot?

i don't think so but it wouldn't really suprise me if one ever did..

how high up the tank do the rocks go?
he'll pretty much claim the highest perch and probably won't go higher than that except maybe for feeding

well thats a problem then cause they go almost to the top (about three inches from suface)
Of couse I could rearange a little!

I don't know about the long nose but my flame hawk jumped out after a few months.

it's definitely not a bad start..

but just a little off topic.. did the CB die from the power head or die and then got sucked into the powerhead..

because coinsidentally, i found my CB on the intake for my skimmer yesterday morning..
