My friend works for a glass company and he is going to build me a 300 gallon tank. I was wondering if anyone had some ideas of what kind of fish to put in it. I want something that gets big and is aggressive, I would like it to be something that is a little out of the ordinary . If anyone has ideas on fish that might work let me know

if ur getting it custom made by ur friend i would try to get it 36-48'' wide. more options!!

Well you could do a lot with a tank that size.......I know you are saying "big, aggressive, and out of the ordinary" but that leaves a lot of categories open.....South American??...Central American??...African??...I would like to know what type of tank you are trying to set up.....I know for me I love my 180 gallon with my 14 inch male Jaguar Cichlid with 2 assorted flowerhorns......the possibilities are endless in terms of what fish you could do.....try to narrow down your regions first......
erebody has aros an pbass an oscars an knifefish u should get some diff stuff maybe a nice tigrinis cat their gorgeous, maybe do some diff and get a cpl blk ghost knifes and grow um out they get a foot+++ get a big adonis plec in there u could put a huge achool of silver dollars with all that..or u colud get 3-4 pacus or 4-6 oscars an waste all that space on some boring ass goldfish eaters
