Fish identity

I cant seem to get a positive id on this fish can any of you great monster fishkeepers tell me what this is.

Imay be wrong actually i will be i think vieja bocourtes, if thats how its spelt

Just done a google on that name its not spelt like that...lol

try Herichthys bocourti looks a little like it with the blue lips

If its one of them i think mine needs a bit of paint to brighten him up a bit just like them...

if you search images of it you see a couple with a similar horizontal bars may not be that but a close relative or hybrid where did you get it

I got it of a mate who got it of hes mate and it goes on and my mate didnt no what it was.

vanilla gorrilla is trying to id his viega has the same reddish face as yours

yours looks like a pale version of this look at how much red there is on the head and yours has the faint markings of the black bars on the head
