my friend is settting up a 120 gllon aqaurium and would like to put atleast 2 fish if not more and would like them pretty but extremely aggresive i was thinking a pair of festae any other ideas?

Pair of red terrors would be really nice. Have 2 pairs of cons with small rock piles as well for them to be able to stay alive and act as dithers. You can also try a pair of red tiger motags as the main showpiece. Or go with some viejas in a nicely aquascaped tank.

I considered Festae but in the end I felt they needed more than a 4’ tank…
I ended up settling on Trimacs. Since then I’ve bought 4 wild caught ones and was hoping for a pair. All have turned out to be female, but none the less these fish have thoroughly impressed me. I have a male selected that will be here next week…

Festae would be my choice, but maybe some sort of Hemichromis would be interesting (I know, not African, but pretty interesting)
