I'm headed to niagara falls this week, and I am going to be in the border of Canada where I am going to visit as well. I wanted ask what are some good shops up there. I'm really interested in getting polypterus and NGT datnoid
and also I want to see rainbow snakeheads and asian arowanas in person. so whats a good spot guys?!
 
some shops will have asian aros but all species of snake head are illegal to own in ontario
 
ontario is too far, cant go that up there. i'm thinking only toronto

Thats a beast... cant support. You got any stores around there that you recommend near you or on the way to there? I really want an NGT, impossible to get in the east of the US. and maybe some different polypterus.
 
I think dragon aquaria in mississauga has a ngt. They had one a couple weeks back. I'm heading up that way tomorrow anyways so I can check. Mississauga also has some shops that regularly stock polys, Dragon aquaria, big als, aquatic kingdom. Also what type of polys you looking for?

Other shops in Ontario that might stock polys are the tropical fish room in brantford, the big als in hamilton or the one in oakville.

Polypterus retropinnis

Unfortunately I haven't seen those polys, at least not where I am. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
 
lucky aquarium for asian aros. there are 2 more stores across the street i forgot their names. the store closer to the street is to avoid but the one further away has a large tank about 700g with tons of nice aros and rays. don't try to bring them back though:)
