So today I was doing regular maitenece on one of the cannisters on one of my planted tanks well I noticed that the screen must have been off the intake because there was 19 fish in the can. I had been looking for one of these fish for about two months. Hes quite a bit bigger the the last time I saw him. they were all alive. Crazy huh?

surprise!!!

So you were looking for one, and the other 18 you never noticed were missing? :nilly: :nilly:

what kind of fish?

WOw, thats somethin else.

They were inside the canister ?!?!? How could they not be dead.

the one I was looking for was an algea eater and the rest were various species of livebearer, the reason I had'nt noticed them is because there they breed like rabbits and trying to count them would be futile. but they were all alive and looked to be healthy

lucky the motor spinning did not get them . wow thats good they are alive :headbang2
Canisters are gravity fed, the motor would only be a problem if the fish went out the return line.

It's amazing what you can find inside a canister or sump. :D
