Hey guys, I'm not really sure which section this would fit into best since it has to do with both phones and fish...but I was wondering if anyone knew of or has any good apps for the iphone/smart phone that has info on freshwater fish. I found one that is an encyclopedia on common aquarium species but it isn't free and got low ratings so I'm leery on trying that one.

I have 1, its called 'Tropical Fish Guide' I have an android phone though. So not sure if theirs an iphone verson. It only has less than 100 profiles. But he updates it every week with new ones. It also has aquatic plant profiles and common fish hobbyist term definitions.

Agrees but man that would take some time to list thousands of different species with size, temperament, what they eat, proper living conditions ect, plus pics scientific names, a database like that could take years to put together without a team of people
