welcome to mfk!
can u post a picture?
or give a more detailed description of the stuff on the aro

sounds like ich. how much are asian aros going for in canada?

Hiya and welcome to MFK,
how big are the spots, like grains of salt? If so it is probably ick.
Bigger and fuzzy, fungus.
Pea sized and pitted, one of the bacterial ulcers.
Can you send pics?
I have never kept aros so I don't know how tolerant of salt they are but otherwise I would advise starting a heat and salt treatment for ick as it often helps with both bacterial infections and fungus also.

yea, it's like little grains of salt. It's prolly ick or whatever. Could you give me some details on treatments?

Bought it for like over $10 000, so yea, pretty rough seeing the thing get sick lol.

if it is in fact ich gradually raise the temperature to 87-89 degrees farenheit

and add 2 tablespoons of salt per 5 gallons of water

do this for about 10 days and the ich parasite should be dead and gone.

keep up its nutrition for superior disease resistance

try some of kents marine garlic Extreme or seachem garlic guard.

Delgado has it down right, I would dissolve the salt in some water before adding it and pour it in where the water flows in from the filter to spread it around quicker and prevent brine spots from settling in the bottom of your tank.
The heat speeds the ick's life cycle and the salt kills the swimming stage so in a couple days you will see fewer parasites but do the whole 10 days to make sure you get them all.
