This is more of a post for my future references. Ive had 3 fish jump out of my tank over the years, red tail wolves and my buddy had his channa jump out. In all four cases the fish were found after a considerable amount of time. When placed back in the tank, they were obviously breathing, but not in good shape at all. They all died after half a day to one day. My question is, is there anything that can be done to increase chances of survival after you find a jumper on the floor? It really sucks when you see them breathing, but they die anyways.
My tank has been foiled and taped down so im pretty sure it wont happen. You never know.
