Ok so this last week a bunch of stuff happened that sucked. and I know some of you people have lost like expensive rays and armatuses and stuff like that but im 15 so this has hit me pretty hard financially and like uhh emotionally if thats the right word. All of this happened in like 5 seperate tanks too :(
Sunday - 200 rosies die because BOTH heaters malfunctioned
Monday - Endli attempted to eat Raph and when it saw me it spat it back up
Monday/Thursday - 2 GIANT in seperate tanksI had somehow managed to die by themselves (???)
Wedsneday - Synodontis Eupterus dies
Thursday - A Pbass has a weird scrape on side (kinda cool actually)
Friday - Flagtail dies randomly
Friday - Jardini loses eye, was planning on selling due to aggressiveness now I can't (sorry Bangin)

Honestly, i'm starting to think about draining the tanks and putting them away for now. (not really sure how i'd do that actually)

Anyways, thanks for reading

brutal, I've had some bad streaks, not quiet that bad though lol. If you've got tanks, you might as well keep them going IMO.

True, I guess when I think about it the Flagtial was the biggest hit followed by the Jar but yeah I guess it kind of makes tank space anyways thanks for the support

Like they say, "Do what you gotta do." If you truly think you need a break, I say, "Take a break. Get energized and re-develop the passion." It will allow you to make a strong comeback. Good luck, in whatever you decide. I've took breaks and it worked for me. I'm a better fish keeper.

Sorry for the losses. I kind of know how you feel in a different way. I faught a horrible disease that killed about half my stock between 3 tanks, some that cannot be replaced. I went and bought an even bigger tank to make sure I didn't lose passion. I understand you might not be able to because of age/funds. I'm broke too but that's cuz I have kids pushing your age lol!

Don't drain the tanks, chock it up to more experience as an adult and fish keeper. You'll be a better fish keeper because of it. ;)

Sorry for your loss Gazelle.....I was real upset when I lost my convicts and Oscars to our ice storm poweroutage several years back......I gave it a rest for several months and then got real interested in natives (I always loved to fish). I would give yourself several weeks to mourn your loss before you take a break or try to force yourself to get reinterested. I hope the rest of your week goes much better!
