I've not had chichlids for a long time or aggressive fish period for quite a while.
A gentleman that works with my other half took down his 125 gal and gave me all his supplies & fish. (he's turning the tank into a lizard tank).
Anyway, I am not the owner of an 8" Golden Knife, about a 12" catfish (the wild looking kind), and a Pleco that is probably about 14" long. Those guys are the biggest. I also got a pair of Jack Dempseys, some tiger bards, 2 angels of good size and an eel that either the cat or someone ate or he's hiding really really good.
the gentleman had them all together in his 125 but I have them split up in different tanks although my tanks are a 75, 45 and a 29.
Can someone give me an idea on how to feed and care for these larger guys? What would some of them be worth if I don't have the right size tanks for them? The cat is already tearing up my 75 and all that is in there was rocks and some driftwood getting ready for africans until this came up.
Thanks for any help. I've had fish for years but not had any for a while and then went to just community tank style fish.
Thanks again
Sharon
