I got a fish listed as a parrot cichlid but im pretty sure its just a parrotfish. Its marbled black and gray in color and its about 1.5". When it has grown will the color develop?

it's either a true parrot, hoplarchus psitticus, or a blood parrot in juvenile coloration.
how's the body shape? pics would make this easier.

Ill get pics when i get home from school. It looks like the head ls to small for the body and a weird mouth that makes it difficult for them to eat
Blood parrot juvies at 1.5" are usually duller colored but will fade when they're getting bigger...so you have blood parrot cichlid.
