Hey,
I just came home to find one of my golden sharks missing an eye, he's still acting normal:swiming around, eating etc. Is there anything that I can do to help him heal? I'm sure the eye will never grow back but is there something that I can do? thanks

eventually the head will fill in the hole where the eye was a bit, but it wont grow back. keeping up on your water params so infection does not set in is the key thing, and also possibly moving to another tank temporarily so the stress stays down from the other fish that did it to him.

Ok. thanks. If it gets infected that wont make all of the other fish sick will it?

most of the things that can make your fish sick are in the tank all the time, but it's their immune system that keeps these things at bay. When they are injured, their immune system is compromised.

just make sure the water conditions are perfect and separate it from the others to reduce damage and stress, and wound will heal and you'll have an otherwise healthy, yet one-eyed fish. I saw a pic on here of a one eyed paroon (i think) and it looked great regardless of the eye

I have a one eyed Datnoid and out of all the ones that I have ,he /she is the most active and outgoing.

i think he would be fine just keep an eye on him good luck
