Hi Everyone,

I'm struggling to find a name for my new JD. My 5-year-old niece wants to name it bubbles....but bubbles for a big mean cichlid?? The poor thing might develop a complex lol.

I would only be able to visualize Bubbles from "Trailer Park Boys" every time someone said it's name.
 
You gotta find something that fits. My paradise is named Bruce lee due to his ninja jumping skill. My 2 African knives were named nighttime and daytime by my brother due to their different shades of colour. My synodontis is called katvis, afrikaans for catfish. And my one Senegal bichir is called nibblet due to his love of food and the other toothless after a members suggestion and a very painless bite (so far)

You gotta find something that works for the fishes habits or personality :)

What part of SA are you from? I'm father was born in joburg but grow up in the Cape. BTW go England in the test. I was born in England

I had a goldfish named bubbles by my sister although it died in an IP epidemic :(
