Sadly probably not..few animal rescue groups know how to or are willing to deal with fish...

the sad fact is very few out side of the hobby care..."its just a fish".

The stupid thing is that the owners of the fish probably have no idea what they are doing to those poor fish. I'm a little surprised that they have managed to survive to become as big as they have.
