Fish of the Río la Silla in northern Mexico

Great shots, the area is where Herichthys cyanoguttatus and carpintus might share habitat.
I believe they are the only two endemic cichlid species found there, beside the introduced Tilapines.
It be inteesting to see if any other cichlid turns up.
 
Thank you. And yes, there are lots of Tilapias here, but I don't bother with them.

But there are some other Cichlids and Tetras (sth. like brycon around 20cm) here aswell. I will try to catch and present them, however its easier said then done. I also have some underwater footage I want to present in the comming days.
