i through pellets in just incase but they don't eat them ..?
i see a few pellets that i through in but i dnt no if there eating them ?

any suggestions ?

o yeah i hav jds and rivulatus's big n small

Hmm, when you say you dont know if they eat the pellets, when you look later do you see pellets floating untouched? JDs and GTS should eat pellets. Maybe they have just gotten too used ot eating bloodworms.

I had a BGK that only ate bloodworms. I bought some sinking pellets and threw 2 in right near him. At first he only nibbled on them. I fed the pellets only for about a week. Each day he nibbled more until he would eat them normally.

So you can try forcing them to eat it. Once they figure its food they will take it. After I got my BGK to eat pellets it would eat all other kinds of food I offered.

the thing is i dnt give them blood worms often like once a month....
they go nuts for them when i feed them pellets they move to the other side ...
and in the morning the pellets are collecting fur practically ... i removed my pleco cause he was eating eggs but yeah

I know what you mean, every fish I ever kept goes nuts for bloodworms, except piscivores.

You shouldnt leave the pellets that long because its producing waste. If you see that they dont eat it within 15 mins pull it out. What do they survive on if they arent eating anything other than bloodworms? If its true you dont feed often they must be hungry.

What other kinds of food do you try?

Try a different kind of pellet. If the fish are small, will they eat flake food? Just stop feeding bloodworms altogether until they learn to like pellet foods.

It takes time to wean fish off blood worms if they are over indulged. Have you tried brine shrimp or freeze dried food then moving to pellets ? Sometimes they need to starve a few days if it keeps them healthy in the long run(Pellets are packed with vitamins and nutrients) And IMO blood worms are like Cheetos to them :)

i feed them blood worms once i month .....

no more no less

i clean the pellets in the morning cause i feed them when i go to bed because the fish are in my room !!

ill try a different pellet then

You could wean them with freeze dried food right ?
