I dont know what prefix to use for this but im trying to help out the gf so that she can pay for some of her schooling (wish i could use it on fish, but school is more important. according to her lol.) Shes a great painter and the photo below or the one in my avatar is a red arowana i had her paint for me. The painting is on canvas and it is an oil painting. I have gotten tons of offers for it but it was my bday gift so nfs. She is currently in the process of painting me one with some kelberi bahias a red aro and some bd rays.
Now back to the post lol. She is willing to paint some pictures for people and she loves painting fish because of the various colors and species. She charges a small fee which will be calculated by her depending on the size of the painting desired and the amount of detail required. Buyer would pay for materials such as the paint and canvas. (Will be purchased from Marshalls if you guys want to see the prices on the materials.) if a buyer is interested we would need some information to start:
1. Size of canvas desired
2. What fish/picture is desired. I.e: just one fish or multiple fish or plants and backgrounds in there
3. A hard copy example of the image that you are wanting in the position desired. I.e: i chose my arowana swimming towards me instead of just a side view. I also gave her a photo of the color scheme that i wanted on it.
4: contact info like a cell phone number or email that we can communicate a lot faster and easier.

If multiple orders come in at once we will handle them in the order that they came in. Also a side note: she is currently in school and she works full time. The available time for her to work on the paintings is a few hours every weekend. Thanks everyone and hope to hear from you guys soon. These paintings would look awesome in a bed room or in a fish room! :-)

Just depends on what size painting u want, materials, and the amount of detail. For example my aro would be more expensive if i added wood and plants and gravel into the image. A fish by itself is cheaper

Nice. bump for art. Also just a lil tip not sure if you want to or rather she would want to but for some xtra $$ she could get a deviant art account and post her work for samples and she can also advertise there for commissions...all free. My sister's been doing ok there too so I thought I'd give you a heads up.
