Fish phases

Does anybody else go through fish phases? The are times when I am absolutely obsessed with my tanks and fish and I maintain like crazy and everything looks amazing. Then there are times that I get into something else and my ranks don't look a good because I stop smoothing gravel out and go a little longer before cleaning them. Right now I'm in a non fish phase since the elk hunt is coming up and im super preparing for the hunt, plus I'm doing tons of research because I need a new rifle.anybody else go through this?

Since I am in my 40's and married, no. Fish are top of the list. But when women were a priority in my teens and early 20s, sure, fish got bumped down.

A good rifle for you to check out if it's not already on your list:
CZ. They're based on a mauser action and their set trigger is freaking unreal. I've been drooling over them for a long time.
CZ makes some of the best pistols and rifles on the market (their shotguns are garbage, though). I'd take their rifles over a Winchester, Remington, etc... all day every day.
Their 22-250 varmint version is on my short list for a 'yote gun.
Guns...my other hobby

To answer your question...No. My tank always looks like a bomb went off in it because my fish digs so dang much. It wouldn't matter if I smoothed out all of the sand, it'd be piled up in the corner in an hour or less. As for maintenence, I do the same routine every week whether I'm in the mood or not. The water condition in my tank for my fish to live in a healthy environment is always a priority for me.
