I apologize if this has been posted already 100 times before, but since I'm new here I'll take a mulligan.

I have several point and shoot cameras and a cell camera, and they all take terrible fish picture. I would like to know what members here are using to take decent, non-blurry, bright pics with. Also feel free to add any photo tips.

I don't really have a clue what I'm doing, but I use a Nikon d7000 6fps, no flash.

I let the camera do the work lol.

Need a speed light at some point.

One rule I do make is I never shoot on big cards. Camera has 2 slots and I usually use a pair of 2g. No bigger.

It's not so bad sorting through 400-500 pics. At 6gps you can hit 2500-3000 pics fast on a 16g card.

My wife left her 32g in one day lol. 5000 pics imported later I had a busy day lol.

You'll need a camera that can trigger a remote flash or three above the tank to get the best shots. That is the single biggest factor in taking photos in tanks.

i use a canon 60D, with canon 16-35mm f2.8 II usm lens/ canon 70-200mm f2.8 is II usm lens/ tokina 11-25mm f2.8/ 100mm f2.8 is usm macro lens. i will only use the simple CA setting or the manual settings. i take non-blurry pics and edit it to get more colors and brightness. :) the lighting will highly affect the picture, so, aquarium lightings or camera flash are highly recommended. i only use camera flash if the surroundings is dark.
this is wht i get,
