Here are some pics I took of my tanks with Sony Niteshot. It allows you to take picture completely in the dark. The pics are grainy and greenish, but neat, because the fish cant see you at all, and you can watch their nighttime behavior at your leisure. Here are some examples, in order of appearance--sydontis, Jewel cichlid, albino chocolate pleco, bullhead with channel, pictus cat, sleeping silver dollar, and shih tzu...

Ive never though of doing some night spying, my video cam does the same thing, thaks for the Great idea now i will be giving it a whirl. I have a sydontis that I never really see - I can wait to see if this works.

Nice pics and thanks for the great idea, i would have never thought of it.

Whispers quietly: "I'm so scared right now!"

She looks evil, but inside her is a sweet, chocolaty center...

We bought the camera for our other babies (children) about 6 years ago rather than for the fish. It cost us probably like 800 at the time, but you could get a used one now for next to nothing I would imagine, if you could find it. Maybe some digital cameras have this capacity, I dont konw. Ive had it for all these years and only just thought about using it this way the other day.

BTW, it is also a great way to prove to your spouse that she snores like a bandsaw, complete with visuals...
