Just out of curiosity could you tell me some prices of fish in the US or even Singapore, Asia etc to compare to England?

I recently bought a 6.5 inch wolf fish for 16.95 (around 30 US dollars), then got a pretty good deal on a hujeta and a bichir.

The 6.5 inch hujeta and 9 inch bichir were in a big tank with no prices, I said I wanted them both and the guy just sort of made up the prices on the spot. 5 pounds for the bichir senegalus and 7 pounds for the hujeta, which is around 9 dollars and 12 dollars.

I can get full grown wolf fish for $12.00 us dollars......

regards,
Decoy

I don't know about full grown wolf fish for sale in the US. They get close to 2 feet or more when "full grown". I have never seen one over 12" for sale. Good price on the birchir. I have seen pike charachins (Hujeta's) for sale for less than 10 dollars US before. 30 dollars is alot for a wolf fish that size (Unless it's a rare species of wolf). The common species should be about same price decoy mentioned. Either way, the pet shops should give them out for free. They would make a killing of the feeders fish they would sell. I don't like to feed my fish feeders, but I never heard of Wolves eating pellets. lol. Good luck.

damn that's cheap for the wolves.

It's a mal, but even so they are not common in England. Nobody near me had one or could get one, so my girl drove me 90 miles each way to get one, and £16.95 seemed ok.

7 pounds for a 12 inch wolf? Damn, how common are they in stores in the US?

IN the great state of Alabama my lfs wanted 29.99 for a three inch rainbow wolf fish and someone bought it, not me. I have to go about 35 miles to the lfs and its the only one that deals in more then goldfish and guppies any were close to me, the prices are always high.

Don't know about the wolffish, good price on the bichir, last hujetas I bought were $6.99 each @ about 3 1/2" but that was a couple of years ago.
