So I was wondering why are some fish so much more expensive than others. It may sound like a funny question but is alot of it just to do with what people are willing to pay. I'm starting to get into catfish and got myself a tig which I have really wanted for some time about a month ago cost me $125 at 5" (sadly came home from work to find a not so healthy fish still not sure why.) I guess mostly in this specious I'm asking why are they so much. I tried to get a lfs store to order me in a 7" tig and he told me $325 is that normal or is he just trying to take me to the bank (no disrespect to sellers) I'm just trying to expand my knowledge and help others as well.
