Would you rather/do you have one room with all your tanks in it, or have tanks spread throughout the house?

maxing out a single fish room . . . 90G main tank, 20G under the 90G, 30G in the closet, and 15G on a bookcase . . . my GF tolerates this, but no way I'm getting tanks in the other rooms

The nice planted tank is in the living room; the rest is in the basement. I would put them all in the basement if I could.

I have a 75 gallon fish tank in the living room I have a ten gallon fish tank in my bed room and a 20 gallon next to the 75. About three years ago I moved the fish from the ten gallon and put them in the 75 gallon. The 20 gallon has been dry for at least five years having been replaced by the 75 gallon. I could refill the 10 and 20 gallon any time I want but I don't feel the need to right at this moment unless a really cool fish where to come along.

What I might do when I move into a place with more fish room is build to large fish tanks one in my bed room and one in my main living room. The fish tank in the living room would be the master fish tank for my goldfish and bluegills. While the giant bedroom tank would be for the large catfish and largemouth bass with possibly a few bluegills in it.

Well everything is in the basement so I guess that could be considered a fish room.

I am about to move my 75gal from my BR to my man-cave in the basement. I told my wife I was thinking about doing it, and she thought it was the best idea I've ever come up with. She's very tolerant of my hobbies, but every now and then I get a glimpse of her true feelings towards "my stuff." I am looking at it as a man-cave upgrade.
