My fish room smells.. Is it because I need more filtration. I'll be adding another filter to my big tank.. What other things could I do or get.. Any good air neutralizes that you have used?

Your probably overfeeding. Carbon will help with the smell, if u have carbon now, its probably time to change them and do huge water change.

Again your having an Anaerobic bacteria outbreak. Its very common in tanks with a deep substrate bed. Sand is almost guaranteed to contain anaerobic pockets. Unless you stir it up daily. Anaerobic bacteria is exactly what causes swamps to stink. Here's what it does:
Aerobic bacteria converts ammonia to nitrites and another strain converts the nitrites into nitrates. Anaerobic further completes this process. Converting nitrates into harmless nitrogen gas. This gas if not stirred up will kill your fish. But once stirred up it simply gasses off into the air. This is the cause of the smell. Ugh no more typing phone keyboard too small...

Its a Jersey Thing

Carbon helps, ventilation helps, keep close lids on fish food helps. Occasional light air freshner with fish tanks closed help.

One has to be realistic though...if you have a large tank in the room, your room is not going to have a cinnamon and floral scent...

And when you are DONE with those water changes, use a floor cleaner to mop up. I Swiffer after my water changes. For air fresheners,I like Oust because it contains actual odor neutralizers, doesn't just cover up the scent.
