SO I thought I would post a few pics of my fish room before I have to move it all. It took me from Feb. till now to get it this far and now I have a baby on the way so it is all going downstairs with the big tank.
Both tanks are 125s (with a 10 in the one stand)
The first tank has 13 RBPs all in the 5.5-7"+ mark.
It's far over stocked but it works great I just feed often. and lots.
The second one was kinda the top secret tank but its close enough to done.It's a 125 like I allready said... Blakc painted background black Estes' marine sand. One 4"PVC tube covered in sand.
It houses a single Pseudacanthicus pleco right now. A L375 he's just over the 10" mark. (hides in the tube all the time.)
I will order my L25 with the next two weeks. and I am going to pick up a pike chilid this weekend if the LFS still has him. so I can get some movement in the upper portions of water.
Third pic is my food/meds/spare parts cabinet. All good fish rooms should have one of these.
The hole in the top left is for the API master test kit. (not sure where that is right now
)
fourth pic is the best shot I could get from the couch. Kinda crapy but you get the pic. The door is off the hinge b/c it was WAY easier to get the couch in that way.
And the last pic is what you see when you come in the two tanks and the couch/ loveseat. It's a sweet wall a-way We got it from her parents b/c they got a new sleeper.
The room was going to have one more tank. A planted 30 with low lying plants and a bunch of neons (simple b/c It would have been my first planted) but now I have to hold off on that till I get the basement done and the babies room done.
But sadly enough this all has to go downstairs. It's allright though b/c I'm not out of the hobby I just got somethign better then fish on the way to fill that room.
The new fish room however is going to be SWEET I have room for one more 6' tank (i'm thinking 180) and maybe a 150 extra wide. and once more couch. So the new room is going to be sweet but a long time to get ready I need lots of things down there Like more electricity ran some minor plumbing work. and insulation.
Oh well enjoy the pics. more then likly the last pics I'll post till I get around to moving the fish downstairs.
