I have a gnat problem in my house plants. The plants are growing in a gravel(only) mixture and are allowed to dry out between waterings. I also have half a mosquitoe dunk in my indoor pond and sticky fly traps in the house also. Yet I still have a problem, and I would like to get rid of them in a way that wouldn't harm my scaled and scaleless fish.

For the pond, maybe you could put guppies/mosquito fish to eat the larve... it would also provide feeders for the fish.

Already have guppies in the pond, they just eat what misses the mouth of my large fish and the large fish ignore them.

There is no such thing. You can get those yellow cards with glue on them they work pretty good. Otherwise you will have to bag each plant, take it outside, treat in the bag, then rinse, BEFORE bringing them back inside.

That's good, but I found equal parts cooking oil and dish soap in a spray bottle with water in it is supposed to work.

neem oil still kills fish.
