Fish safe silicone from Lowes or Home Depot.

I need to know what brands are fish safe silicone. What did you guys use?

I always used GE type 1 never had any problems

yupp GE 1! gunna pick up one this weekend to just in case somthing bad happens! better to be prepared then to swear later!

do pay attention to the "expiration" date on them - if you use it and then it dries it's ok, but if you keep it - even unopened for years and then try to use it ... I would not feel safe about it

GE 1 is ok just be sure you let it cure for at least a week with the tank laying on its side so the fumes do not get trapped. I have had issues with it in the past trying to rush things just because it looks and feels dry dose not mean its cured and tank safe
