Fish seem to die and then come back to life?

Has anyone else had this "zombie fish" problem? I do regular 30% waterchanges, but ammonia is through the roof! Can anyone help me out?


For real, though -- I just had to grab this little walking dead figurine. Got me thinking about some decor for a new tank... ;D

Ok, you do 30% water chances, but how often?

What size is your tank?
What are you running for filters?
What is your stock (quantities and sizes)?
What is your water parameters (ammonia, nitite, nitrate)?
Describe your feeding schedule
