Hi, I got a 120g SW FOWLR setup and I want to know what fish you guy's recommend. I want it to be nice and colourful, it has live rock and I don't really plan on making it a reef aquarium later on, I am looking at a total of about 9-11 fish, here is my current stock :
Current Stock :
1 x Humu Picasso Triggerfish
1 x Yellow Tang
1 x Sailfin Desjardini
Fish I am thinking about getting :
1 x Banggai Cardinal
1 x Threadfin Butterfly*
1 x Ocellaris Anenome (nemo fish )
1 x Palette Surgeon (blue tang)*
1 x Orangespine Unicorn (naso tang)*
1 x Siganus unimaculatus (foxface rabibitfish)*
1 x Powerder Blue Surgeon*
1 x Copperbanded Butterflyfish*
Also wouldn't mind imput on other fish that you would think work well, this is just what I am thinking, and I don't plan on getting all of those, maybe 4-6 of those, I know the naso tang get's fairly large and if i get one of those i wouldn't get as many fish. Thanks!
I would appreciate some info on the fish witht he * marks, thanks!
Thats 7 Fish, do you think those will be compatible with each other?

Sorry but there is no way you could have that much. Just the trigger, yellow tang and sailfin is almost as much as you could have. And really you shouldnt even put the sailfin in there as they gets to big and they swim too much in the wild. I dont think you should have the copperbanded, powder blue, or naso in there either. If you want that many fish you need to look into smaller species.
You cant stock a SW tank anything like a FW tank.

why not a few anthias in place of some of the other fish? or smaller wrasses or hogs?

1 x Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish
1 x Palette Surgeon (blue tang)*
6 x Blue/Green Reef Chromis
1 x Siganus unimaculatus (foxface rabibitfish)*
1 x Heniochus Black & White Butterflyfish
to add to my current stock of :
1 x Humu Picasso Triggerfish
1 x Yellow Tang
1 x Sailfin Desjardini

this is what i am thinking now.

Taking them back is bad advice. Who says the shop will take them?? My shop generally doesnt as adult trade ins are alot harder to sell.

I still think you have 2 much there. This is only a 4'x2' tank isnt it?? If im worng and it a 5' and not 2' wide then its even worse.
Look more at 4 big things or like 8 or so small things.

i would not add another tang and even the foxface is pushing it. maybe just 4-5 of the chromis for a little dynamism and have the trigger and tangs as showpeices, what are you running for filtration again?
