The Oscar will put grow that tank. The flowerhorn will eventually out grow it but not as fast as the Oscar. The green will also but much later down the line. I wouldn't keep any of the two but if I had to choose it would be the gt. They are slow growers and to me not as aggressive as the flowerhorn. I've never owned a flowerhorn but have owned a Oscar and gt. Oscars get 11-12"+ and are very very messy eaters.

none of them will outgrow that tank lol... could do an oscar, green terror, a smaller pleco and a fourlined pictus all together in that tank easily if you have good filtration and do your water changes.

Its a great tank for adult Oscar and a hand full of silver dollars, 2 Cichlids long term is probably not going to work the footprint wont give you fish enough room to create their own territory. For the most part I agree with justarn except for the green terror part.

Haha. My bad. I thought he had a 55 gallon. Didn't realize he had a tall tank. Was late night when I was reading the op post. Just is right. You could do what he said. Keep up on your water changes and good filtration.
