I am looking to be able to ship some F1 Festae fry so I need to get some supplies. Where is the best/cheapest place to get the things that I need. I am thinking different size box's with styros that fit the box's...bags...bag buddies...heat/cool packs...and I can get a tank of oxygen locally.

OR if you know of other ways to ship fish safely overnight.

Thanks for any input!!

i have access of several import styro boxes that were designed for shipping fish. Always put the fish in multiple bags within the boxes to insure safety in less numbers. i have an ongoing question that no one has answered about using RO water for the shipment. Larger quantites should be shipped air cargo! to insure guarranteed live arrival.. dont really think you need heat packs at this time..

Fish can't live in pure RO water.

You should ship fish in the water they are used to.

Stop feeding for at least 24 hours prior to shipping.

Kensfish.com has just about all the supplies you need except boxes/styros.

There are plenty of FAQs online about shipping fish. Just Google it or search here.
