Not sure if this belongs here to the lounge.
I've thought of advertising watching/checking someone elses' fish while they go on holiday as an oddjob. Reading and experiencing some of the horror stories, I'm fairly sure I could do a better job. I could even do stuff like seperate surprise babies and treat sick fish if it came up. Of course they'd have to pay me back for any meds I'd have to buy.

The drawback is, people would have to give me a key to their home so I could check on their fish. That's an awfully big trust issue and I'm not sure anyone would like to do that.

I'm asian. No one in their right mind would trust me with pets. But, if I were to ever be offered a pet sitting job, i would definitely show up wearing a bib. Just because my sense of humor is like that.
