Talk about the importance of Latin names for scientific classification.. Ramble off a few of the well known fish (Goldfish, Oscars, Bettas) and you will sound really smart.

Wear lots of heavy clothing.. it may help absorb the beatings you will get at lunch time from the bullies picking on you for liking fish so much!

Recommend hardy, small fish that are easy to care for. Guppies, tetras, mollies, fish that could happily live in a 10 gal set-up. Honestly, I wouldn't bring anything live into a school, kids are just too disrespectful to be trusted with anything you want to keep alive. Bring pictures with you, slides, other things to show what a happy, healthy tank can look like. Good luck with it.
