I have a 110 gal.
4x2 foot footprint planted tank. I have no idea where to begin stocking it. I was thinking colorful Rams, a couple angels, congo tetras or rainbows, neon tetras? etc..

Any suggestions?
Is there a way to do this that is colorful, exciting and realistically appropriate, like the fish at least come from the same hemisphere.

Apistogrammas. Colorful and fun personality for being so small. A little more on the expert level to keep though

Showpieces: Angelfish, Discus, (large school of) Harlequin Rasboras, gouramis
Others: Cardinal tetras, rams, corydoras, kribensis cichlids

Definitely gonna want: ottos & bristlenose plecos for algae control, and if nothing will eat them, Japonica shrimp are great too

Big planted tanks are the best because you have so much to choose from that will live peacefully together.
