Fish suggestions

I have a standard 75 gallon tank and was thinking about putting a pair of some sort of south/Central American cichlid in it. I was thinking of buying 6 or so juveniles and letting them pair up and re home the rest. Any suggestions on fish that will be good in a 75 gallon the majority, if not all of their lives.

Same boat,

got a red spot severum pair in there at the moment,

rams, blue Acará, firemouth have been what I was thinking about....

I’d like some wild green terrors but tank is too small as I understand it...

african cichlids in a 75 are nice - did one

you not say Africa but some smaller Bichir, and other Africans would be nice too, Congo tetras, marbled leaf fish,african knife...
