Ok I rearranged my bedroom so I can fit a nice 75 gallon or 55 gallon tank in there without a problem. I went to go check out the to tanks at my local Pecto and the prices for a 55 gallon tank which is 48 long 13 wide and 20 tall is $109. For the 75 gallon tank which is 48 long 18 wide and 20 tall is $179. The only difference between them is that the 75 gallon tank is 5 inches wider than the 55 gallon tank. Now they have a deal at Petco they have a 55 gallon kit which comes with a filter, gravel, the works for $200 and with a PetsPAl card it is only $165. I am going to make my own stand for my tank because the prices for stands there are out of controll but what do you guys and gals think is a better buy if I wanted to put a 11 inch largemouth bass in the tank and a 8 inch smallmouth the 75 or the 55? The 75 gallon I like because it is wide but the combo for the 55 gallon will save me almost $100 dollars because I won't have to buy a filter and gravel and an aerator.Fish Tank Dilema
