I want to hear about your personal fish tank related injuries
Here is mine from yesterday:
I have been in the process of building a wet/dry filter for my 380 gallon tank I purchased a few months ago. I finally found a 100 gallon tank and have been trying to find glass for the separators. After an exhaustive search I found that it would be cheaper to buy a smaller tank and cut it up for the glass.
Well, yesterday I wake up ready to get started and my first task was to remove the black rim of the 'donor' tank - anyone who has done this knows it is not easy. So I grab my utility knife and a few careless seconds on my part resulted in the following
:
Fresh Cut:

2 hours at the hospital and a few stitches later:

Not the most serious injury, but the blade went right to the bone. I was VERY lucky it hit my hand in the best possible spot - no vein, no tendon
Not the first time I have cut myself with a knife and I doubt it will be the last
"I did it all for the feesh!"
