I just go my 125 gallon tank used its one of the older ones half inch thick. has no supports just glass and doesnt have slate/shale bottom ethier. The guy before me siliconed 1 corner on each side of the panes on the opposite sides. It looks to me that the Tank split. He did a herendous job.
Do i need to take off the whole pane and redo both sides of it or can i just do the sides that look to have been split?
Has anyone ever encountered this problem before? If so how did you fix it?
Also what is the strongest silicone to use? I have GE2 clear would that work good? It's 100% silicone and has no mold inhibitors. I really need to figure out how to fix this and were to start. I bought this tank as a project to do. This will be my first tank fix and i would love to do it correct my first time!
