I dont gey any odors from my tanks

What is your maintenance schedule like
I've had carbon filters start to stink before

youll defintly get rid of the smell with air freshener because youll kill the fish.

what kind of smell? is it rotten egg smell that usally caused by anerobic gasses from nirates tunrning to gas from nitrates beeing trapped in o2 pockets or it could be food waste.

I am currently keeping 2 tanks in my bedroom, any idea of how to get the smell of "fish tank" out of there? lolol

My last bout of 'smelly tank' was because I had been massivly overfeeding that tank. I cleaned the filter, did a 50% water change while doing a gravel cleaning to get all the debris/rotting food off the bottom of the tank, cleaned the ornaments in the tank and the smell went away. If you smell your tanks then something is wrong.

are you sure it's from the tanks? lol

its probably algae or leftover food. mine used to smell also.

and i just got a 60 gallon used, it smelled horrible even w/o any water in it. so i cleaned the gravel thoroughly three times, and the smells gone.

Yes, the problem is that you are over- feeding.
I had this problem once. Just feed the fish enough
so that it is all gone by the time you walk away from them.
Anything let over, is bound to decay.
