Hi all,

I'm living in a 6 story apartment and the apartment was built in 1928. I'm on 5th floor with wood floor. I believe the building holds total 180 units.

I'm currently has a 75G set up and wondering if the floor can hold a 200g tank?

I don't believe it is a concret structure and noise insulation is poor. Ppl complaint about loud foot steps all the time.

So is it safe for me to get a 200G tank?

first off check with your land lord. you are moving into another realm of weight.

you own it and not know for sure how many units ?

hows that happen?

no offence, just not make sense to me.

It's not a house. It's a co-op apartment building. The building is own by the building corp. I own a unit that I'm currently live in.

Anyway, I think the super attendant may have some information that can help me determine.

Thanks for all replies.

It can hold the tank.
